What is spin casting?
It's a process through which it is possible to create items in series by exploiting centrifugal force in order to evenly distribute the material in the mould.
The material is melted in a furnace and cast in the rotating mould positioned inside a centrifuge. The mould is created thanks to the employment of a press for the vulcanization of silicone rubber.
What is a spin casting plant composed of?
A Spin Casting plant is composed of three machines: press, centrifuge and furnace.
Moreover, it includes a moulding frame for the silicone rubber and various accessories designed to optimize the process.
