ENAMELS, CATALYSTS AND ADDITIVES

These enamels are primarily used for decorative and artistic applications on metallic (jewellery, costume jewellery, buckles) and non-metallic items (crystal, glass, plastics, wood and rhinestones). Our enamels have high-quality aesthetic and mechanical characteristics in terms of sheen, adherence and abrasion resistance (they can stand processes of millin, lapping, polishing and laser engraving, without jeopardising the enamel’s adherence to the object). Our enamelling products are two-component epoxy resins, with different characteristics in terms of quality and behavior. Moreover, additives and auxiliary products are available to ease the process.

Enamels from the normal series are used for basic works.

Hard enamels, resistant to temperatures up to 90 °C, not suitable for post-hardening processes (grinding, laser incision, thermal transfer, etc.).

The Z series enamels are used for particular works and are very resistant to UV rays.

Hard enamels, resistant to temperatures up to 200 °C, suitable for post-hardening processes, such as grinding, polishing, laser incision and hot printing of images (thermal transfer or thermal sublimation). They prevent log-term colour change/yellowing caused by UV rays.

Ready-to-use colors can be used, or mixed with other enamels of the same category to independently create countless new colors.

Catalysts and additives

Catalysts allow the enamel to go from a liquid state to a solid state. There are different types of catalysts to give a certain viscosity to the enamel, allowing the operator to decorate any type of surface. Furthermore, Nicem offers specific additives to make work easier and satisfy every possible need.
