170 – 180°C | 338 – 356°F SILICONE RUBBERS

Silicone rubbers for the production of high-performance centrifugal casting moulds, especially from a thermal point of view. They are excellent for zamak alloys, pure and mixed tin, pewter, eutectics, etc. (up to 500°C).

These silicone rubbers have different characteristics, to adapt to each type of item.

They can be vulcanized at 170 – 180°C | 338 – 356°F. The average hardening time for these silicone mixtures is 2 minutes for each millimeter of thickness.

Silicone rubbers with high thermal resistance, ideal for flat and simple items.

Silicone rubber with thermal and mechanical resistance, suitable for flat items, but also with light undercuts.

Silicone rubbers with mechanical resistance, for items with complicated geometries and significant undercuts.

Silicone rubber with excellent mechanical resistance, to be used only as an insert in combination with other Nicem rubbers to improve the mechanical seal in spots where the object tends to “tear”.
